Thank you for writing this article about how smoking can hurt your skin and make you look older. I've been trying to get my sister to stop smoking and I had her read the article and because she's also stuck on her looks, it really got her attention. Hopefully she'll finally decide to quit!

I find it hard to believe that milk can be used for skin care, but I'm interested to see if it really works. Where can I find a place that does milk baths?
-S.B. Burbank, CA
Many day spas around the country carry milk baths as their specialty. Depending on where you live, you can simply look up "milk baths" online and from there you can find out which salons or day spas offer this service. -Ed.

When I go to the gym to work out, I usually only put concealer on. That won't harm my skin, will it?
-N.T. Dallas, TX
While concealer may not be a lot of makeup for some people, it still blocks your pores while exercising. As important as appearance may be, for your skin's sake it's better to not have anything on your face other than lotion or moisturizer. Sweat interacts badly with any kind of makeup. So take a risk and go without makeup or concealer of any kind at least while you're in the middle of working out. -Ed.

I got rhinoplasty a year ago and I'm still unhappy. I think there is still a little more work that can be done. Is it okay to have more than one rhinoplasty procedure done?
-O.S. Tyler, TX
Because we are not licensed surgeons, the best advice we can give is that you speak with the doctor who did your first rhinoplasty and tell him/her why you are unhappy with the job and what you think needs to be redone. You need to take into account any health risks you may run into with having another rhinoplasty procedure done. There could also be the possibility that your nose looks fine and you're being too critical about it. Consult with your doctor first before making any decisions for further sugery. -Ed.

Your article about ways to keep my skin looking good was really informative but at the end where it talks about being wary of the "overdone gals at the makeup counter" was kind of harsh. Are they really that bad?
-K.R. Bakersfield, CA
Although it may have come off as harsh, we are simply trying to advise that you as a consumer be smart when it comes to makeup consultants trying to sell you their latest products. If you know what you want, then politely tell them to only show you the products you have in mind. There are makeup consultants who are knowledgeable as to what products work with what skin conditions. Make sure you talk to someone who is close to your age range and who is familiar with your skin type. -Ed.
