After completing his undergraduate studies at Harvard University, Dr. Rokhsar attended medical school at The New York University School of Medicine. His fellowship training in cosmetic, laser and dermatologic surgery was completed in San Diego.
The creator of the "15-minute non-surgical nose job," and the "15-minute non-surgical eye lift," Dr. Rokhsar is also a pioneer and researcher on the science of fractional resurfacing with the Fraxel laser. In addition, he has conducted the early clinical trials for Portrait plasma skin resurfacing. He has introduced fractional laser resurfacing to many parts of the world, including the U.S., Australia, Canada, England, Asia and South America and has trained more physicians on this concept than any other physician in the world.
